Hong Kong ArtWalk 2009

This year 64 galleries participated in ArtWalk 2009 - this is an increase from the 55 galleries that participated last year. There are many new galleries and some from last year have closed or moved.

Nevertheless negative financial climate ArtWalk 2009 went well. A completely different feels from the frenzy of last year when art was headline news for the media. Visitors declined then last year but everyone enjoyed ArtWalk night and viewing Moon Gallery’s new collections. Especially huge video installation projection to entrance window captured great attention from people.

Our collection of Korean paintings, video installation and photography were 30-40 % cheaper due to Korean currency fluctuation verses to US dollars.

It was very pleasure to see again the same guest from last year ArtWalk 2008. ArtWalk does create an art-interest momentum and - I hope people enjoyed the evening and looks forward to seeing you all again in 2010.
