An Exhibition of Three Potential Chinese Young Artists

Moon Gallery proudly presents the new exhibition - “Chinese Contemporary Young Artists Series” starting from January 2008. The three Chinese young artists, Sun Xiaofeng, Lee Xubin and Huang Haiqing, their artworks will be shown in this exhibition. 

Sun Xiao Feng is as the multiple roles of artist, curator and critic in China. He is also significant artist of new Chinese art wave – “Cartoon Generation”. In this exhibition, it will show Lee’s paintings by his main creation“Barbie．Chenghai Baby”. Deeply impact on Sun, he reflects his concern of humanity on his artworks.

Lee Xu Bin, an artist who was born and educated in Guangdong. In 2004, his first creation “ Open Attribute “ was shown in “The First Generation of Artists In a New Era” at Guangdong Museum of Art. As painter and photographer, Lee has participated in several photo exhibitions.  With colourful paints, Lee’s artworks enclose an unusual approach of mind afloat and lighthearted self.

Also Guangdong artist, Huang Hai Qing, has participated in several photo and art exhibitions in China. His artworks are selected in “ The Yearbook of China University Students’ Artworks”. This time, the gallery will exhibit the paintings from Huang’s series – “ Daily Story”.  The paintings depict the different closed-up women’s facial expression in blurred style. The artworks represent his poetic and thorough of sensibility.
